*Eco therapy is nature based therapy that can be done with a therapist by bringing a therapy session outdoors, such as to a local garden or park. You might take a walk or sit in a green space. Other examples of ecotherapy include gardening therapy, forest bathing, wilderness therapy, and animal-assisted therapy.

Ecotherapy may benefit most individuals, but may be particularly helpful for people experiencing high stress and burnout. Individuals with depression, anxiety, or PTSD may want to consider ecotherapy to help manage their symptoms. Children with ADHD may also benefit from nature therapy.
